Oh Joy

You remind me of something turquoise. I just can’t think of what it is.

So Turquoise Jeep came to town last night. The people at Rock Lobster really seemed to enjoy them. Yep…

Okay. I have a small confession to make. I’ve never seen nor heard anything that Turquoise Jeep has done. Action Jackson sent me a link to a video after he told me about the show a month ago. But, I didn’t watch it. I was going to. But then what happened is… I forgot. So as Turquoise Jeep took the stage last night I didn’t really know what to expect. And then a funny thing happened. I got really caught up in trying to get good pictures of them. And I went and forgot to watch them perform. It happens all the time. I’m so obsessed with the visual that I forget the audible altogether.

So in a way I still haven’t heard Turquoise Jeep. I have only seen them. But hey they look cool so… that’s cool. And I was really drunk so that’s also… cool. You know I apologize. I am not really covering this show as well as I could have. I didn’t even get that great of pictures of Turquoise Jeep. The crowd was all jammed up against the railing. And even though I snaked my way on stage, it’s real hard to shoot something from behind.

Look I’m not trying to make excuses here. When it comes to Turquoise Jeep, I dropped the ball. I did get a few shots of hot ladies and rockin dudes in the crowd though. And I got to hang out with some serious girlfriend material for a large chunk of the night. And I got decent pictures of Sinclair Wheeler and Oreo Jones. And speaking of Oreo Jones, A dude asked me if I was Oreo Jones’ brother last night. Which was a welcome respite from people asking if I just AM Oreo Jones. So really, It was a hugely successful night in many ways. If I had it all to do over again, I wouldn’t change much. It would have been nice to make out with a chick. I’d change that. Also I’d be rich. Wait. What are we talking about?

Click on the picture of the chicks in stretch pants that I Loved to see the gallery. And no, that capital L at the beginning of “love” in the last sentence is not a typo. I Loved those ladies with a Capital L. So to speak.
